Authentic Leadership
Common sense, broad experience and volumes of
 research show that satisfied employees do higher-quality work, stay with a given employer longer, contribute more ideas, energy and enthusiasm, and support company objectives and leadership. And a comparable amount of research shows that such employees— competent, committed and engaged — are a product of quality leadership. Quality leadership is the key. So what is ‘quality leadership'? At Edaphica we believe in definitions, and our foundational one is that real leadership, authentic leadership does in fact meet specific, definable criteria: it can be described in detail. And because its components, characteristics and qualifiers can be pinned down with accuracy, its acquisition and application can be both taught and learned. We've even given it a name: |
